  1. Microsoft Sidwinder Old Pc Game Pad Controller Driver Windows 7

MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick needs a driver for Windows 10. Is there a driver? Would like a link to download driver and software for the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick to run o a Windows 10 operating system. The driver should be installed automatically when the device is connected to the machine unless there.

I'm trying to install a gamepad from the year 2000
I tried adding a device automatically using 'add device' under 'hardware and sound' it never ended looking for devices and nothing showed so I cancel it, then I tried adding a legacy hardware under action menu on device manager but my device wasn't listed.
as a last try I used the game port to usb adapter but it detected it as unknown device and searched for microsoft drivers but there were no sidewinders listed.
this use to work under xp but is not listed or detected on win7 I need the driver for it it's a microsoft gamepad that uses the gameport to connect to the pc. Is there a wey to take the driver from the windows xp disc?

As video game consoles have become more and more popular, PC gaming has seen a decline. Many popular PC franchises have already made the leap to consoles and others seem sure to follow. Many gamers like the feel and control of gaming controllers and prefer to use them even with PC games. Because it connects with a USB plug, the Xbox 360 wired controller is the easiest to plug in to your computer and use with PC games.

Download the controller software by going to:

http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=Gaming&type=Gaming

Select your controller, your operating system and your language and confirm that you wish to download the software.

Install the software after it has finished downloading. You may be prompted to restart your computer in order for the changes to take place.

Connect the controller to your PC by plugging it in to a USB port.

Test that the controller works by click the “Start” button, selecting “Control Panel,” clicking “Printers and Other Hardware” and selecting “Game Controllers.” Select the Xbox controller and press the buttons to ensure that they are registering on the computer.

Load up the game you wish to play on your PC.

Select the “Options” menu in the game and go to the controls section.

Select the Xbox controller as your input device and map the commands to the desired position on the controller. You can now start a new game and use the controller to play.

Tips

You can use the wireless Xbox 360 controller, but you will need to purchase the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver in order to plug it in to your computer.

You can also use a PS3 controller connected via a USB cable, but you will need to download and install the libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe driver.

Not all games will work properly with a game controller.
